Context, clarity, and conviction with your action matters. Seek ultimate clarity with understanding what the challenge or opportunity is and how you can approach it with action.

For this question, “How can I become recession-proof in my job?”, consider not attempting to proof against something that is inevitable with economic cycles, rather, consider what behaviors, action, skills, experience, and relationships can position you to be so valuable, that recessions don’t impact demand for your talent. It’s not your job you are protecting…protection is futile, it’s personal innovation with a hedged portfolio of skills and experience.
