• “Creative Convergence” was a fitting theme » “The Largest Global Cross-Sector Innovation Conference | Discover the Potential Cross-Sector Innovation

• Toph Day and team have assembled an amazing ecosystem with Elevate Ventures and the Rally event

• The content at Rally was good, but the connection and energy was great!

  • Met interesting people that live in towns next to mine

  • Met some founders with so much passion and energy - it’s really inspiring

  • People I could add very little value to, were still open to talking

  • I set the stage for one meeting in a couple weeks in SF

• Really liked the content covered by Chris Deaver and Ian Clawson - they have a book out, “Brave Together”

  

• A-Rod was there- it was cool to see him talk about his post-baseball career.

• Marcus Lemonis was great - what an engaging speaker, allowing other s to share their stories, and teaching through that manner. Marcus never touched the stage, rather he allowed those he chose from the crowd to take the stage. A lot of lessons here.

  • You must know yourself in order to lead at your ultimate potential

  • Elevating others in front of yourself

  • Kindness and understanding can be part of leadership

  • People drive results for your business

  • “The more you share, the more you let people in, the more you allow people to connect”

  • “Connection with people to give them comfort and freedom”

  • “People need to know you”

• Indy has significant opportunity in front of it- you can feel it. Lilly, Elevance Health, tech (several sectors), entrepreneurship, sports…
