Opening Remarks

Invites are out! I’ve reached out to the inaugural invitees, many soon to be members, for Indefinite Sum. Doing something meaningful together is a lot more fun than on your own.

Over the last several months, I have realized how alone we are when growing a business, selling, or delivering, and how inefficient 1:1 networking really is, yet how valuable that connection and collaboration is. It’s time to scale it for a group needing and wanting community. I’ve seen a few models, but they aren’t exactly what I’m looking for and feel they’re hitting a different need. Let’s scale you or your business into an exclusive power group of entrepreneurs, founders, investors, or operators of SMBs.

I don’t share this to come be exclusionary, but rather to share the power of community, and if you aren’t included, and want to be, it’s likely because I don’t know you well, or you’re with a larger firm. So it’s not a no, or you’re not welcome, it’s, let’s get to know each other, not yet, or let’s talk for the long game future. This is the start. Not the end.

I’m building indefinite Sum. If they don’t let you in, or if you don’t find your tribe, build one. Let yourself in by creating your own group. Never wait for someone else’s permission if it’s not required for your own well being.

Why

Because you must love who you work with or find those who you enjoy growing with together. Learning and building business through community, not draining networking or cold outreach is more sustainable for a meaningful work and business experience.

I have so many recent partnership conversations with talent services, digital marketing, L&D, technology, and various other firms, and there is an opportunity to partner more effectively, efficiently, and in a more collaborative manner, and work together. indefinite Sum is doing just that.

With the discovery of this, I have realized I need to launch a partnership platform for client services. Core areas of service clients need to scale their business. A consortium of client service centric firms that deliver on client needs, together. indefinite SUM is the launch of that affiliate of trusted partners to deliver on SMB projects and services.

So much glamour talk and support for startups, and as start-ups grow beyond accelerators and incubators, primed scaling organizations lack belief or confidence, are hesitant to scale, or don’t know how to scale.
